WHO ARE WE HELPING, AND WHAT DO THEY DO?

ACT, or Acrobatic Circus Troupe, is a non-profit organization based in Katwe, Kampala, Uganda. ACT feeds, mentors, and helps keep kids in school and out of trouble.  And, of course, they teach acrobatics and juggling as a central part of their program. They instill hope in children who have little else that does. ACT currently operates on a small piece of property owned by an elderly lady who believes in their cause. If the property were to ever change hands, they may no longer have a place to do their work. This is the first in a series of fundraisers with an ultimate goal of $15,000 needed for new property and facilities. Take a close look at who these people are, and you'll see why we want to help them to help others.
